Anthony N Pappas Jr., age 74, entered the presence of the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021. He was born in New Britain, Conn. on February 27, 1946. The son of the late Anthony Pappas & Theresa Moison Pappas.

He was preceded in death by his son Stephen. Tony is survived by his wife of 53 years Eileen, his sons David (wife, Amie) and Michael (wife, Michelle) who were his pride & joy, and four grandchildren Maxwell, Micah, Matthew & Michaela, who lit up his life whenever he saw them and his brother Howard Raynor (wife, Geraldine).

He served the City of New York for 32 years before retiring and moving to North Carolina in 2015. He enjoyed his time working on the Clubhouse Committee and the friendship of so many great people in the Villas of Sun Valley & the surrounding area.

He attended Cornerstone Mission Church in Monroe where, under the leadership of Pastors Vic Sorrentino and Mark Iacono, along with the fellowship and love of his church family, was always encouraged and lifted up which meant the world to him.
